More Than Wood Shop

We explore the growing world of construction and manufacturing, related apprenticeships and career paths. Our instruction is geared to prepare students with the confidence and skills to be successful applicants for entry level job opportunities. Knowledge in these fields is key to building self-confidence and reliance for the future. Students concentrate on learning safe workplace practices, the value of a good attitude and reliability, and equipment/tool familiarity to ensure a well-rounded base knowledge.  Trades will explore the basics of construction styles and projects, introductions to electrical and plumbing, technical drawing (drafting) and even construction design.  We hope to continue to expand this program in the future to include more opportunities.
