Phoenix Early Learning Center
For more than 40 years, Phoenix has served children and families with compassion, resilience, and opportunity. Phoenix is proud to expand its mission with the launch of the Phoenix Early Learning Center – a high-quality, inclusive early childhood program designed to meet the needs of today’s working families. We proudly accept ERDC subsidies and offer an income-based sliding scale for families in accordance with Federal poverty level guidelines.
Our Philosophy
At Phoenix Early Learning Center, we are dedicated to creating a warm, inclusive environment where children of all abilities learn and grow together. We believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and respected, and we work intentionally to build classrooms where each child has a strong sense of belonging.
Partnerships with Families
We view families as essential partners in each child’s development. Open communication and collaboration between families and staff help us provide consistent, individualized support. We encourage ongoing dialogue so that, together, we can best meet the unique needs of your child.
Our Approach to Learning
Our program uses an emergent, play-based curriculum designed to support joyful and meaningful learning. Teachers observe children’s interests, strengths, and developmental needs, and use this information to plan engaging activities and shape the classroom environment.
This child-centered approach encourages: Curiosity and exploration Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Confidence and resilience
- Communication and collaboration with peers and teachers
Because learning is connected to children’s real-life experiences, it becomes more meaningful and memorable.
Supporting the Whole Child
We are committed to supporting each child’s overall development, including:
- Physical development through active play and movement
- Cognitive development through exploration and discovery
- Social development through relationships and cooperation
- Emotional development by building self-awareness and confidence
Our goal is to provide a strong foundation that supports lifelong learning and well-being.
Affordable Access & Inclusive Care
We proudly accept ERDC and Cow Creek subsidies and as well as offer scholarship opportunities for families who fall at or below the 150% Federal poverty level
Our tuition model is designed to be fair and accessible:
- ERDC families pay only for their assigned copay
- Sliding scale options are available based on household income in accordance with Federal poverty level guidelines
- A balanced enrollment model helps ensure long-term program stability
We welcome children of all abilities, including those who benefit from additional behavioral, emotional, or developmental supports.
