Our Summer Conservation Corps Program provides an opportunity for youth from any school and with any skill level to enjoy the summer working outdoors. Our focus is to challenge their work ethic, expand their job skills, and allow for steady summer employment. All Douglas County residents are eligible for these positions.
Junior Hand-Tool Crews (click here for the Hand-Tool Crew position description)
Recruiting 8 Positions, $10.50/hour
Crew is comprised of eight youth, 14-16 years of age.
Spend two consecutive weeks of the summer working on activities ranging from trail enhancement to restoring habitat for wildlife. Activities focus primarily on hand-tool related tasks.
